My name is Zachary M. Kappel. I was born and raised in Canton, Ohio, and I discovered my drive for storytelling when I was young, literally crafting storyboards since the ripe old age of four. In elementary school through high school, I was encouraged to take part in ACSI's Speech Meets, an experience that whetted my palate for performance and delivery. This prepared me well for my theater background, where I would gain production insight and play roles like Mr. Toad in The Wind in the Willows and Paul Sycamore in You Can't Take It With You. I would also go on to pick up valuable technical skills during my first internship at Patriot Software: editing, camerawork, and more. At that internship I got to write and direct short-form video. I even built a film studio from scratch. All of these would develop my eye for quality and purpose within visual storytelling. Today, I'm studying at Grove City College in Pennsylvania, gaining more experience and accepting new challenges as I go forward.
